What the report says
1 Sep 2026 at 9:47 am UTC By Liam Squires-HandDeadly Days: Roadtrip is a truly great entry in the survivor-like bullet heaven genre and now even better with local co-op added. An impressive game that has a Very Positive rating on Steam. Clever mixture of game mechanics to it too - all the standard bits from bullet heavens are there but with the inventory management too, it makes multiple runs quite interesting. It's a thoroughly challenging one too, I have yet to beat it with many hours in it. I seriously cannot wait to dive back into this one now with a friend and you can also play it online via Steam Remote Play Together. In the announcement they also revealed the latest update added in a brand new biome to battle through, along with a new surfing character to unlock which sounds like a lot of fun.

There's also a few new enemies, a load of balancing changes and plenty of bug fixes. They also have a new trailer showing off some of the new content and the local co-op player: YouTube videos require cookies, you must accept their cookies to view.
