Lord of the Rings Online begins testing Wolves of Mordor’s neighbours system

As Lord of the Rings Online heads into Wolves of Mordor territory, it looks as though players will be getting one of the major systems of the expansion a little early. SSG began testing Update 49.6 this week with a preview of the new neighbours system.

Play LOTRO for freeWhile the feature isn’t fully functional quite yet, testers may summon one of these visitors to talk with them, give (and receive!) gifts, and complete a rotating panel of daily quests. “Two neighbours, Brútha and Emmathron, should have personal quests available when you increase your relationship with them,” the studio noted.
