The itch.io app has been upgraded with some very useful additions, that make using it actually a whole lot nicer.

Version 26.20.0 was released recently and includes the ability to add shortcuts of games into Steam, which is incredibly useful for the likes of Steam Deck, Steam Machine, SteamOS and anyone using Steam Big Picture Mode. To go along with that, the itch app now supports running games via a headless CLI mode with a simple command too.

On top of that if you have standalone downloads from itch, you can now link them in the app. Plus various other small improvements and bug fixes in the changelog.

With all these changes on top of actually (finally) listing bundles in your account library properly from the v26.15.0 release back in July - the itch app just become a lot more useful.

These types of changes might make me actually use itch more, especially with all the random charity bundles I've supported over the years. Finally having it all nicely integrated, with the Steam shortcut feature - wonderful.
